How Social Media Helped The Hunger Games Retain Its Popularity
Since The Hunger Games’ release nearly 2 decades ago, social media has been a constant support system for the books and movies, helping them grow into the large and infamous franchises they are today. But it didn’t just become a worldwide sensation overnight. Throughout the years, The Hunger Games made a name for itself and tackled themes that resonate with today’s society and government. The first Hunger Games book-to-movie adaptation is an example of that. The directors did a marvellous job with the worldbuilding, the settings, casting, characters, etc. But even though the movie was a huge global success, there were a few differences, like cutting out important characters that impact the movie in many ways.
